Vancouver BC Canada roadie here… Wade, coming from Canada you should know better than to take the laws too seriously. Yes, you technically can’t ride two-a-breast (a $109 fine), but that hasn’t stopped the Vets ride from taking place for years and years (similar to your hell ride). It is also illegal to ride standing on the pedals ($109) in BC (not sure about Alberta), but I have never seen that enforced either.

Most of these rules are only put in effect when there is a blatant disregard for public safety.

How to find out how many Km’s your opponent is doing on the bike – check the tan lines. Was the quad flex really necessary mate?? haha

You should move to Qld, our winter is almost like Canadian summer, well, at least Montreal’s summer anyway where I spent 4 years (racing). But then you don’t really want to be in Qld between December and February either :-)
