job well done wade, i saw you, viddy, lisa and wendy on friday, but was struggling up the narrow part from the round about….. i saw how much she seemed to be enjoying the downhill and decided to leave things be.
a brilliant idea expertly carried out, and while her attitude hasnt changed completely….it seems to have been tempered with a touch of humanity and some understanding… great stuff

take care, wade, and choose your words carefully, as she will use anthing to get a story….i for one am not even going to dignify her piffle with a response this time or the next, as i will not be purchsing the sunday edition as my own protest, the same for the online edition,
she obviously craves the attention that notoriety brings to fill some void in her life, give her no attention or a decline in readership, then she becomes irrelevant, and perhaps redundant to the paper.
and todays paper is just tomorrows compost

Hi Wade,
Fantastic response!

I’ve just read her follow up article published today. She’s still full of hate for cyclists.

Can you just point out to her that cyclists will be abused, hurt and possibly killed when people use her moronic comments as further justification to continue treating cyclists badly.
This year along I’ve been buzzed by cars coming way too close, have cars rev their engines just as they come up alongside, abuse and have garbage thrown at me and even been spat on. I’m a small lady on a bike and I keep thinking if they do this to me then imagine what they must do to kids out there riding?
Her article will only increase this happening and it’s sad to see that she doesn’t even seem to take that into account.
Have fun on the ride with her, can only hope she is nicer and smarter in person that she comes across as a writer.
