Flying back into Melbourne this morning, it’s hard to believe a small crew of us were riding up this beautiful climb only a couple of mornings ago.  The climb is out of Milford Sound (NZ), taken just before entering the 1,270m long, near-pitch black, 10% Homer Tunnel. -Nathan Lorkin and Jacqui Hickey

    Just watch out for New Zealand's magpies in spring - they are ten times worse than Australia's. When I was there in 2005, I was chased by one bastard bird for over a kilometer!
